Terroir

If you have not tried it yet, Terroir is a new bar which opened last year opposite the Villa Medici restaurant in Carvoeiro. It is already deservedly popular and no.2 on Tripadvisor for restaurants.
They have a wall full of Portuguese wines from reasonable upwards and you can try any by the glass. They really know their stuff band talk through them with you so it's great fun. You can also have some tasty tapas with the wine.

So buy by the bottle and buy to take away. We have discovered some really good wines and enjoyed learning about a country that we did not know much about wine wise.
