Best places to fish?

I am a keen angler and have kit at our place in RB. Tried off Centiennes beach and down in front of the small pool. Does anyone have tips on best places to fish and with what gear? Out in a week and looking forward to trying!

 

I asked in the Carvoeiro tackle shop about fishing licences. As most know you do need one but without a Portuguese bank account which you can use a cashpoint for buying one, you have to go to an office in Portimao. Have address if anyone needs it but have not gone there myself yet. Advised that if you are stopped you can plead ignorance the first time - not likely to happen below Rocha Brava.
Regarding fishing places, I was down below the small RB pool fishing and a local pulled in some good bream frustratingly a few yards away. I also tried the quay at Ferragudo - no bites but good place to spend some time. I was looking to fish on the breakwater but could not see how to access it. Tight lines!

 

The next day I caught two nice bream off the rocks and today I saw locals catching bass and bream off the beach and rocks at Centiennes. Shame I am going home today with so many about!
