Order of items in forums

    Is it possible for the comments within a discussion to show the latest one first rather and the rest following down to the first post. this would avoid having to scroll down to the latest posting?

    The discussions within a section always show the latest one at the top.

    Alan, glad to see you back at the forum! I've transferred your message to a new sub-forum as there needs to be somewhere for questions and suggestions related to the workings of the forum itself.

    The forum software we're using doesn't offer the ability to display messages within a discussion in reverse chronological order. However I think you'll find that you don't have to scroll to get to the messages you want to read.....

    If you click the New Posts button and then click on any of the discussions in the list you should be automatically taken to the most recent unread message. Alternatively, if you are simply browsing discussions within the forum then you should see a link (Go To First Unread) which takes you to the first message that you haven't already read.
